Peta Lukács is one of Hungary's most accomplished guitarists, known for his unique mix of rock, metal and fusion. He began playing the electric guitar at the age of seven and after years of autodidactic learning, he was accepted at the renowned Music Institute of Kőbánya in Budapest in 1996, which he completed with top grades in 2001. At the age of 14, Peta made a name for himself in the music scene, won his first electric guitar competition and was named best solo musician at the biggest Hungarian TV talent competition Ki Mit Tud? excellent. This was followed by numerous other awards and projects. With Gergő Borlai, he founded the fusion jazz metal band European Mantra in 2001, which quickly achieved cult status. Since 2006, he has also been the guitarist of the legendary Hungarian rock band Bikini, with whom he performs in front of thousands of fans. As a solo artist, Peta has also left impressive marks: His debut album War & Peace (2013) won the Fonogram Award for the best rock/metal album, followed by the highly acclaimed Homo Imperfectus in 2017.
